New Children's Hospital

Currently under construction on the QEII Medical site in Nedlands, adjacent to Kings Park, the new $1.2 billion children's hospital will replace Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.

Due for completion in 2015, the 274-bed state-of-the-art hospital will house WA's only paediatric trauma centre, an integrated research and education facility - including the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research. It will also include all other services currently provided by Princess Margaret Hospital including rehabilitation services and specialist burns and oncology units.

As Perth's leading paediatric care and research facility, it will also offer more family facilities, including bedside accommodation and family resource lounges, along with a larger operating theatre capacity and more neonatal intensive care beds.
